THE CAMPAIGN FOR COMMON SENSE
We approached The Official Monster Raving Loony Party and asked if they would like some help on the run up to the 2019 General Election.
Well, as Dave was running as a candidate in Brighton Pavilion, they said they would be mad not to accept.
Some digital posters and online banners were conjured up.
Dave, or real name Citizen Skwith, went on the campaign trail and we took over his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Flyers were printed, megaphones were employed, local and national policies were drafted (let’s just say there were more relevant policies in here than in both major party’s manifestos put together) and although he didn’t manage to replace Caroline Lucas, he did come a credible 5th, receiving 301 votes, beating UKIP and an Independent.
Citizen Skwith came 5th with an increased majority.
